Scholarship Application Instructions

Considerations for scholarship applications will be made at the TAVAC spring board meeting. The number of scholarships awarded and the amounts of those scholarships are determined by the TAVAC Executive Board after receiving recommendations from the Scholarship Committee.  View the rubric used by the scholarship committee.

TAVAC offers scholarships for two categories:

  • Post-Secondary Education/Training

  • Employment

TAVAC will consider nominations and award scholarships/aid for post-secondary
education/training or employment for students receiving special education services and are involved in a
work-based learning program (paid or non-paid). 


DEADLINE

  • Deadline for application is the last Friday of  March

  •  Regional Representatives must receive all applications by that date!

1st Time Applicants: Post-Secondary Education/Training

 

  • Only completed application packets will be considered.

  • You must be a current TAVAC member to submit an application.

  • Only original TAVAC Scholarship applications will be accepted.

  • Applicants must use the October 2020 revised forms.  Be sure to read and complete all forms below. 

 

Re-Applications: Post-Secondary Education/ Training

 

  • Current recipients of TAVAC Scholarships must re-apply to extend their scholarship.

  • Only completed re-application packets will be considered.

  • Applicants must use the October 2020 revised forms.  Be sure to read and complete all forms below .

Employment Scholarship Applicant

 

  • Only completed application packets will be considered.

  • You must be a current TAVAC member to submit an application.

  • Only original TAVAC Scholarship applications will be accepted.

  • Applicants must use the January 2023 forms.  Be sure to read and complete all forms below .
